DETAILS

In times when the concept of prospering feels more complex than ever, we believe in the power of community to redefine it. At Public Media Institute, prospering means "co-prospering"—thriving together through shared effort and mutual support. It’s through this collective spirit that we bring you Lumpen Radio, Lumpen Magazine, Co-Prosperity, Buddy, MDW, and mutual aid initiatives like Community Kitchen and asylum seeker phone support. We can only do all this because we rely on one another's good will. We want to continue this work, and we want to do it with you. Thank you for collaborating with us on so many creative programs!!! Join us for a night of camaraderie, commiseration, celebration, and cooperation on October 23rd. Enjoy amazing food, music, and art as we gather with friends and comrades, bolstering each other for the year to come. All tickets include: 🍽️ Dinner Dozzy's Grill – Experience the bold, authentic flavors of West African cuisine, thoughtfully crafted to create a one-of-a-kind cultural dining experience. Let Dozzy’s Grill take you on a culinary journey with their signature dishes and warm, radical hospitality. Indulge your sweet tooth with desserts from Elizabeth's Cakes and Eli's Cheesecake. 🍻 Open Bar – Sip and enjoy drinks, courtesy of Marz Brewing and Jeppson's Malort. 🎤 Live Music – Groove to beats by DJ Logan Bay, Weird Lady Music, and RADIUS. 🎟️ Artwork Auction – Bid on exclusive, one-of-a-kind art pieces through our Qgiv online auction platform, and help support our cause! If you can’t join us in person, please consider attending one of our many free events throughout the year. Your support, in any form, is invaluable. Spread the word, and let’s continue to co-build the communities of the future—together.
